Local employees to senior positions


The recruitment policy to increase the number of local staff in senior positions has continued. This has a positive effect on the sustainability of the projects as fewer expatriates are required and perspectives for local employees are improved. The quality of War Child's programmes must be guaranteed; however, this can only be achieved with qualified people, and local employees are not always qualified for such positions. In 2007, the percentage of local staff in senior positions remained the same at 23%.
