Objectives of the programme in the Netherlands


In 2007, the objectives of the programme in the Netherlands were:

  1. Highlight and improve the psychosocial development of children and adolescents in asylum seeker reception centres through art-based projects in the centres;
  2. Increase the involvement of artists with a refugee background and established art institutions in the project; 
  3. Increase and inspire the involvement of the Dutch public, which will contribute to improved social cohesion in the Netherlands.
